Canadian Pharmacy & Patient Services

How to order

Q. Is a prescription required?

A. Yes! We require a prescription for all medications that are prescription only in Canada. Just like your local pharmacy, we require a valid prescription from a physician licensed to practice in your area of residence.

Q. Is there a limit on how much I can buy?

A. Yes, you may purchase only a maximum of a 3 month supply of each of your medications. Provided that you have a valid prescription for that supply of medication. If your physician writes a prescription for more than a 3 month supply then we can fill those refills as they come due.

Q. Why can't I buy Valium, Tylenol #3 or similar medications from your pharmacy?

A. We legally cannot ship any narcotic or controlled substance across the border. We also will not sell any habit forming medications.

Q. What language does my prescription need to be written in?

A. Canada Drugs is able to accept prescriptions written in any language. Technical translators training in pharmaceutical translation then transcribe those documents at no charge into a language appropriate for review by the pharmacists and physicians that will be reviewing it.

Some of the more common languages that Canada Drugs accepts prescriptions in are:
